Onboarding Steps

I can’t wait to work with you to design your space!
Please follow the onboarding steps below to get started.

This helps us understand the scope of your project, style, budget, and wish list. The more specific you can be, the better! If you have any special requests, please use the short answer areas to provide details. You will also upload images of your room, as well as measurements of the space. If further information is needed, we will discuss further via email or zoom call.I’ll be in touch via email to follow up on next steps!

Step 2: Email Anissa photos and a floor plan.

Make sure to capture all angles of the room in landscape mode. I suggest starting in one corner and working your way around the room.

The floor plan can be simple and hand-drawn (here’s a guide!) - please include dimensions for walls, doorways, windows, along with ceiling height and any important architectural elements.

Step 3: Pull together inspiration photos.

Find pictures of rooms that show your style and either create a Pinterest/Houzz board for them (send the link/invitation to collaborate to or email them directly. This is a very important part of the process to make sure our visions for the look/design of the space are the same.

Step 4: Purchase your design package.

You'll receive a proposal from Cozi Corner Designs for the e-design service that you’ll be able to approve and pay online. Payment must be received before the design phase begins.

Then it's onto the design phase!

Join the Client Portal

Once your design is ready, you’ll receive an email invitation to view the design board (like this one!) through my private client portal. Inside, you’ll be able to offer feedback and comments so we can refine the design if needed. Watch this short video to get oriented on how to use the portal.

Moodboard Concept + Room Layout

After carefully reviewing your design questionnaire, I will create a first concept mood board for your space, which will give you an idea of the look and feel for the design, as well as some initial furniture, decor, and colors that will function as a starting point for your design. This mood board will help ensure that we are on the same page in terms of what you are dreaming about. We will discuss the mood board and I will complete any revisions that you would like to see (maximum 2 revisions included)

3D Renderings + Final Details

Once the final concept and room layout are approved, I will create 3D renderings of your space, filling in many of the smaller details, so that you can see the room come to life.

Along with your 3D renderings, I will provide you with a more detailed listing of all of the items within the design that I have chosen for you, so that you can take a closer look and be sure that they meet your expectations.

Revisions + Final Deliverables

After you provide feedback on the renderings and items chosen, I will once again complete any revisions that you would like to see. You have a total of three (3) rounds of revisions included in your design package.

When the final design is approved, I will send you a final design guide with all of the details for your project, so that you can complete your space confidently on your own.

Your final design guide will include:

  • A list of our initial project goals

  • Your final mood board

  • Room layout diagram

  • Final 3D Renders of project space

  • Item listing with clickable product shopping links

  • Further notes and instructions for you to complete your room

Anytime you send an email with questions or feedback, you will receive a response within one business day (Monday-Friday). Timely responses from your side will ensure the best experience as well, and with good communication, we can put together the design plan in just a couple of weeks!*

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to email or contact me through the website.

*Note: If there is a lapse in communication of greater than 30 days without notifying me of the need for extra time, Cozi Corner Designs reserves the right to close the project and charge a $25 reopening fee. This fee must be paid prior to continuing the project.
